CLIMATE EXCHANGE
Climate Exchange is a single page, scrolling website concept with the vision of helping to spread awareness of the growing concern of climate change and how it is negatively impacting lower income countries at a severe rate. The purpose of Climate Exchange is to compare climate conditions between high and low income countries, contrasting the different resources available to each one. This particular design focuses on Guatemala as compared to the United States. It also goes on to allow visitors to learn more about the Guatemalan drought beginning in 2014 in both a timeline view and as a selection of curated news articles.
I created this design concept to appeal to young people, with the goal of creating a dialogue between those of a younger generation. I achieved this by utilizing a simple color palette and clean graphic elements, all culminating to a call to action to share a customized social media post.
Following the development of a paper prototype, client brief and research document, I created the visual design for the concept. To better show its functionality, I created a video in After Effects, animating desktop usage and scrolling functions.
CNY REGIONAL MARKET AUTHORITY
The CNY Regional Market Authority website redesign was a project for a web design course. The goal of this assignment was to improve the current website and create a new and responsive design to be optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
The website was created collaboratively along with my project partner, Jane Depgen. We created a fully responsive template with HTML and CSS, which we then incorporated into the Wordpress CMS.

FAMILY. LIFE.
The Family. Life. website was part of the 2014 Fall Workshop for graphic design students, Pixels vs. Print. I was part of the Pixel's team, with the specific job of designing the home page, along with project partners, Abbey Legge, Jane Depgen and MacKenzie Dunsmoor. Through our collaboration, we came up with the idea of having a rotating list of words describing what "Family is." Each word would link to a different set of projects within the website.
